**Locking**

$JVP can be locked and turned to be veJVP which is control of the protocol and voting power from $JasmyX. Also locked $JVP will participate in the governance of the Jasmy Voting Power protocol. The locking period has 2 months, 4 months, 6 months, and 1 year.

**Voting/Delegating**

It is allowed to delegate voting power to a specific address.

**Delegating JVP voting power**

After locking JVP, you should delegate your lJVP to either yourself, a third party, or to JVP. It should be conducted before the start of the next epoch. To delegate to yourself, select "Self Delegate." To delegate to a third party, navigate to "Delegate to a specific address," enter the address, then select "Delegate." To delegate to JVP, select "Delegate to JVP."Once delegated, "Delegating" will show the total amount of lJVP being delegated, and "Vote weight" will display your voting weight.

**Delegating Jasmy Grant's voting power**

Delegating Jasmy Grant votes is different from the JVP delegation. This delegation is defined in Jasmy Grant Rule. Unlike JVP delegation, users can only choose to delegate to JVP or a trusted third party. After locking JVP, you can view your Jasmy Grant voting power and set a delegate by selecting the target "JVP" or a "trusted third party"

**Increase the Voting Power**

The project on the Jasmy Grant Program shortlist can get more voting weight by buying $JVP, locking the $JVP, and voting for themselves.

Also, projects can bribe users to vote for them on JVP. It's the most efficient way for Jasmy Grant Projects to attract voting weight via bribes.
